Kyriakos' dances are rich in tradition and folklore. More about Kyriakos below.
Kyriakos holds a degree in Physical Education with a specialization in folk dancing. Since 1997 he has dedicated himself in researching and teaching Greek folk dancing. The first dances that he learned where those from Pontos danced at weddings and other celebrations in his village. Over time he joined various dance groups with which he performed in Greece and abroad. At the same time he increased his research material and has been sharing his knowledge through seminars and workshops in Europe and the U.S. In September 2005, he and 50 other dance instructors and fans of traditional dance established the Center for Study of Traditional Dances "Kyklos". Over the years he has built a large collection of music, video, print and material related to dances from Pontos, Kappadocia, Makedonia, Thrace and the coast of Asia Minor.
